Ceramics

 In this project the design element was the scalloped edges and heart pattern flowing off to the rim. I used many techniques while making this ceramic. I molded the clay into the plate shape, carved the design, heated it, and painted it. My art piece is a plate that I can use as decoration or to eat from. I liked the hearts and the radial design and I thought the hearts looked good. I learned how to make a plate and the steps and process to make it. I also learned what a radial design is. I would make the edges more even if I could do this project again,
